Tavira Bus services are provided by Eva Transportes. They in fact
provide both the local services and inter town services for the
whole of the Algarve.
So if you want to travel from Faro to Tavira by bus on your way to your holiday destination, they will get you there. National transport is provided by Rede Nacional de Expressos who manage an extensive bus network outside the Algarve area.
Fares are reasonable and run regularly. Our experience is that they are
also very reliable. If you have access to the internet, check out their website. This has an English section if your Portuguese is a bit rusty!!
Just type in where you want to travel from and to and it will provide you with a a timetable. Press on 'ver' in the right hand column and this will tell you what the fare will be.
We have provided a few of the main routes that we use below with an indication of times and fares applied or alternatively you can visit our Tavira Bus Timetable page that has a list of full timetables to many of the local towns.
